Keeping Families Together (KFT)

 

KFT aims to provide preventive community care and support in place of unnecessary child apprehensions. Proactive and innovative in their approach, KFT hosts circles where influential guests such as Kerrie Reay the provincial manager for addressing racism in BC Healthcare.

Preventative: Community care and support in place of unnecessary apprehensions.

Informative: Open sharing and ongoing dialogue, education and reminders related to parent, child and family rights.

Accessible: No attendance is taken and there is no sharing outside of the circle.

Collaborative: Provides a link to support, supervised visits, and advocacy with parents' consent.

 

Keeping Families Together creates community and connection as parents seek to move forward with the support their families deserve.

Support is offered to make sure parents know that they are not alone.
